Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa is a non-profit community service organization operated by volunteers and funded by charitable contributions. Their purpose is to provide the elderly and disabled homebound with nutritious home-delivered meals, caring contacts, and other services which enrich their lives. GuRuStu reimagined the Meals on Wheels brand with an updated and fresh logo design.
Branding
Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa utilized GuRuStu to rebrand their organization and raise awareness for their cause. GuRuStu designed a new logo and branded print collateral for Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa.
The "MOW-mobile"
GuRuStu brought awareness to the new brand identity with the “MOW-mobile”, a VW Beetle covered in Meals on Wheels decals and filled with Meals on Wheels food trays. The “MOW-mobile” made several appearances at events around Tulsa, was driven by the city’s mayor, and effectively brought attention to the brand’s new identity.
Mayor Delivers Meals
Mayor Dewey Bartlett delivered meals to MOW recipients in an effort to raise awareness. GuRuStu shot footage of the event and gathered multiple news networks to cover the story.
Fundraising
GuRuStu has designed mini websites for various MOW fundraisers, which allow users to make donations and purchase tickets for the events.
